Digital Space is a provider of converged managed services to mid-sized corporates in the UK. The business designs, implements and supports digital infrastructure including connectivity, unified comms, hosting and IT managed services. Digital Space has a growing AWS and Azure practice and deep IT security skills. The business with data centres in Newark and Telford serves more than 200 clients and employs over 250 people across the UK.
Digital Space operates in a fragmented and growing addressable market with over 500 independent providers of services in the UK. Horizon Capital has worked with management to develop a strategy to build a truly converged provider of connectivity and digital services – a true partner for clients wanting to transition to a modern IT infrastructure.
Buy and Build
Since the initial investment in 2017, Digital Space has completed three acquisitions moving from a connectivity focussed business to one with deep hosting and hyperscale hosting skills.
The Journey so far
Horizon Capital has worked with the business to invest for growth, building a talented Board and Executive team, developing the proposition and implementing the systems and processes required to provide excellent customer service and enable double digit organic growth. Digital Space has also entered the growing public sector market joining the G-Cloud framework in 2020.
Digital Space now has a truly converged connectivity and hosting capability built for mid sized corporate customers seeking next generation solutions.
